Raymond James Stadium first opened its doors on September 20, 1998 and took nearly two years to build.
It is the home of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (NFL) and the college home of the University of South Florida Bulls.
If you want to have a really good time, get there earlier in the day to take in the tailgating atmosphere. We have a lot of tailgating pictures we took at Raymond James Stadium. It costs about $25 to park at the stadium, so why not have a little fun where you park, you paid for it!
Raymond James Stadium seating capacity is approximately 65,900 people, but can seat nearly 75,000 when seats are added to the field.
If you're attending a game for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, try to sit away from the endzone where the pirate ship is located at Buccaneers Cove. After the team scores, they shoot off an canon shot from the ship that can be pretty loud
If you're there for a nationally televised game, the broadcast booth is setup to the right and behind the Buccaneers bench side of the stadium that could block your view of the game if you got tickets down close to the field.
