Progressive Field, formerly known as Jacobs Field or The Jake takes a page from its former name by also being called The Prog today. It first opened its doors on April 4, 1994.
The ballpark is located at 2401 Ontario Street in downtown, Cleveland, OH. There are plenty of restaurants and pubs to hang out at in this area before or after a game It is located across the street from Quicken Loans Arena the home of the NBA Cleveland Cavaliers.
If you like to watch batting practice or maybe get a players autograph, you can get in early through Gate C with access to Heritage Park (display of the Cleveland Indians history), the Lower Right Field Reserved Seats and the Market Pavilion (an area to get food and drinks).
The Cleveland Indians have a program for the parents or guardians of young kids. If this is you, you can pick up wristbands for the kids at Fan Service Booths and the Concierge Desk with your seat number on them. This is to help in the event that they get lost or separated from you and be returned back to you at your seat.
