Recently, I had the opportunity to view a home game of the Padres baseball team at Petco Park in San Diego.

This baseball stadium is located right in the heart of downtown San Diego. It's quite an experience!

From the dynamic water falls that grace the entrance way stairs, to the ocean and night time lights views, and especially the fireworks displays that go off with each home team home run ... It's just plain fun to be there.

The Padres fans were welcoming and the food was really good for a ballpark, not just hot dogs anymore.

I agree, Petco park is one of the best baseball stadiums! It's so exciting to be among the enthusiastic crowd as they cheer the Padres Baseball team on.

We usually go when they have the mid-week specials and most everything (except beer) is only $1.

Parking is not a problem, because the convention center is next door.

I would suggest that you take the train for the fun of it! You get so pumped riding together and walking the short distance from the local stop together through the gates into Petco Park.
