Nearby is the Elitch Gardens Theme Park that was formally known at Six Flags Elitch Gardens. It is connected by a foot bridge to the Pepsi Center, but they don't like you to use one parking lot to attend an event at the other.
The Pepsi Center seats approximately 18,000 seats for games to see the Colorado Avalanche and 19,100 seats for games to see the Denver Nuggets.
At The Arena
Doors open for any event at the Pepsi Center Denver Colorado one hour before the game begins. The parking lots open three hours before the games begin.
If you need seating for someone with a disability, 298 seats in the arena are available. These seats also allow for a friend that is not in need of disability seating to sit with them. For complete information on disability seating can be found by calling the box office at 303-405-1111. Guest relations offers a service that will take a fan with a disability to their seating location. They can be dropped off at Chopper Circle and parking is available in lots A, F and G.
Guest Relations have a booth on the lower level and one on the upper level. The one on the lower level is located behind section 120 and the one on the upper level in located behind section 375.
Coors Meadow, located next to the Grand Atrium, is an outdoor park located at the arena that's a good place to meet up with friends before going to a game. It has a stage setup for entertainment before events when the weather permits. It seats approximately 150 people.
If you attend the game for a special event, such as a birthday or anniversary or something like that, you can let everyone at the stadium know about it by having it announced on the scoreboard for a small charge. You can also have it announced for FREE at your seats and get the people in the sections around your seats involved too. Guest Relations for the arena can give you more information on that, but they need 48 hours advance notice to schedule it. Call them at 303-405-8548.
The Blue Sky Grill is located inside the arena and gives the feeling that you've stepped into a mountain lodge when you walk in. To eat here on the nights that a game is going on, you might want to try to make a reservation. It tends to get rather busy!
The Ridgeline is a restaurant that is open ninety minutes before the game, but stops serving food at halftime of the Nuggets games and at the end of the second period for Avalanche games.
Denver Post Newsroom is another restaurant located at the arena, but it's reserved for fans that have club level seats.
