Parking

Located on the spot of the former Orange Bowl, parking at the new stadium can be a bit stressful.

There are parking garages on the stadium grounds, but unless you're one of the players, coaches, VIPs or have purchased pre-paid parking or work at the facility you'll need to find another place to park.

If you want to ride your bike, you can park it in the garage where there are racks on all floors.

Area residence will let you park in their yards for a fee or you can take the public transit.

The ballpark is located at 501 Marlins Way in Miami, FL.

Marlins Park is the only MLB stadium to have an aqarium directly behind home plate. Actually, there are two 450 gallon aquariums installed there.

Marlins Park is a retractable-roof stadium that seats approximately 37,000 fans for baseball games.

Marlins Park opened for it's first exhibition game on March 6, 2012, although the very first game was a high school game played just the day before. Opening day for a regular season ball game was on April 4, 2012.

Roof

For the first time, the (Florida) Miami Marlins will play their home games in a stadium with a retractable roof. South Florida is known to have many hot afternoon summer days as well as frequent rains. Both of these events have detoured fans from attending games in the past, but with the new retractable roof it will only enhance the fan experience where it can be open on nice South Florida days and nights or closed when it's not.

Bullpen Zone

An area in right field next to the bullpen has been designated a party area called The Bullpen Zone. You can use this area for large groups and comes with its own menu, parking passes and tickets.

Also, located near the bullpens is the Clevlander Restaurant located on the field level. It opens two hours before each home game.
