Located below is the Kansas City Royals Stadium seating chart for Kauffman Stadium. It is also the home of the 2012 Major League Baseball All-Star game.

The Kansas City Royals played their first regular season game at "The K", Kauffman Stadium, on April 10, 1973. The ballpark is located at One Royal Way on the east side of Kansas City, MO. just off of I-70 at the Blue Ridge Cutoff. It also shares a parking lot with Arrowhead Stadium, the home of the NFL Kansas City Chiefs.

If you have kids to bring with you and they're 32" in height or less, they get in FREE. But, they do need to sit on your lap if the seats next to you belong to a fan with a ticket.

Kauffman Stadiumis an open-air stadium that seats approximately 40,000 fans for baseball games and is the home of the 2012 All-Star game.

When you want to be pampered for a game, get the BATS Crown Club seats. They're located right behind home plate connected to a private lounge. Tickets in this area also includes special parking, a private entrance and in-seat service for food and beverages. The cost for a single game ticket is $240, so it's not a cheap!

Special Needs

For special needs seating and wheelchair seating locations, those seating options are available on all levels of the stadium. For elderly or those who need assistance to their seats, there are wheelchairs available to get you to your seat from Gates A, B, D and E.

The seating area in left field known as the Sonic Slam seats can be a benefit to you even after the game is over. If one of the Royals players hit a homerun into the Sonic Slam seats, you can go to Sonic and get a FREE medium slush before midnight of the next evening. If that weren't enough, you can get a $5 My Sonic card from guest services by showing them your ticket before you leave the stadium.

What You Can Bring Into The Stadium

You might be pleasantly surprised to know, we certainly were, that you can bring food AND water into the ballpark. There are certain requirements that have to be met though. It must fit in a soft-sided container no more than 16"x16"x8". You can also bring plastic bottles of water that are 20" or less and must be sealed and not opened.

Purses and diaper bags are also permitted.

There are a number of places to find food inside the Kansas City Royals stadium. For ribs and barbeque, they have the Royals All-Star Barbeque concession. For the regular ballpark food of hot dogs, brats and hamburgers, they have the Hot Corner Grill and KC Crown Classics. They've come up with some pretty unique names too. If you're old enough to remember back to the pine tar incident with George Brett at Yankee Stadium in 1983, also known as the Pine Tar Game, one of the concessions is called The Pine Tar Pub. I don't think Kansas City Royals fans will ever forget that game. It was one of the marker moment games in a franchise's history.

Beyond left field is the Boulevard Brewery. It's a local Kansas City brewery with a restaurant at the ballpark. Located just outside the restaurant are plenty of picnic tables and benches to sit down and eat without needing to go back to your seat to eat.

If you attend one of the evening Kansas City Royals games, you'll get to see the fountains just beyond the outfield lit up in beautiful colors. Kauffman Stadium is a friendly ballpark and a great place to bring the family. The Kansas City mascot, Slugger, is a favorite with the kids. Below you can catch him ready to call the balls and strikes and take over the umpires job. Sometimes, I just might rather have Slugger back there. Justg saying!
