When you move your mouse-pointer over any section of that seating chart, you'll see an actual picture of that section. That way you can see what your view will be like from those seats before you go to the game.
Comerica Park, is located in downtown Detroit, MI right next door to Ford Field, the home of the NFL Detroit Lions. It is only a block from the downtown train station called "The People Mover". Comerica Park first opened its doors on April 11, 2000.
When you walk into the stadium from the first base side, with the Fox Theatre behind you, there is a statue of the Tigers Hall of Fame broadcaster Ernie Harwell located right in the middle of the walkway. Even if you come by the stadium when it's not open you can see his statue through the gates.
Sitting in the grandstand and along the third base line, one gets a picturesque view of the downtown skyline. Plenty of great photo-ops!
If you come for an afternoon game, the shaded seats will be along the first base side, while the third base and left field bleacher seats will get the majority of the sun.
Comerica Park seating capacity seats 45,010 for baseball games.
