The original Anaheim Stadium was constructed in 1964 and opened in 1966. During those years the Angels rented Dodger Stadium for their home games. It wouldn't have been right for Angels to play their home games at a stadium with another teams name, so Dodger Stadium became known as Chavez Ravine Stadium during Angels games.
