home. MetLife purchased the naming rights to the stadium in August 2011
for 25 years.

The New York Giants and New York Jets combined resources and will share the same $1.6 billion New Meadowlands Stadium.
The stadium has seating for 82,566 fans.
- The lower bowl will sit 33,346 people
- The middle bowl will sit 21,323
- The upper bowl will sit 27,897.
- There are also 10,005 club seats and approximately 218 luxury suites, making the new Meadowlands Stadium the second largest NFL stadium in total seating.

FedEx Field in Washington, D.C is the largest NFL stadium with a capacity of 91,704.
This will be the first cold weather city without a dome or retractable-roof that will host a Super Bowl. This new Meadowlands Stadium will host Super Bowl XLVIII in February 2014.
